The series follows Kai Minamoto as a young man who was involved in a near-fatal accident and while close to death Kai wakes to find an alternate reality of his close friend which awakens as an alternate version of the same but a world constructed with countless cubes. Kai learns of the reality, set’s his mind to returning to his ‘own world’ and starts getting his friend to unravel the mystery of what it is to have ‘friends and what is meant by feelings’.
